3. Monrovian Park

Head up the canyon in Monroe for a picnic! This area is the perfect spot to explore trails along the river. There are picnic tables along the different trails among the trees.

We especially loved the quiet serenity you get up here. There are painted rocks around some of the picnic tables that adds to the peacefulness of the area.

We don’t have a guide up for Monrovian Park yet, but we will have one up soon.

To get here from I-70 in Richfield take exit 37 towards 1300 S. Stay on 1300 S for 1 mile. Turn right onto UT 118 for 5 miles. Take a left to continue onto UT-118 for 4 miles. This will bring you into the city of Monroe. Continue onto Main Street for 1 mile. It will curve left and turn into Monroe Canyon road.  Monrovian Park is located 3 miles up Monroe Canyon.

Use Caution

Be aware that Monroe canyon is a narrow and winding road. Please use caution!
