The Toadstool Hoodoos feels like a magical land! With the wide open white sandstone and the red hoodoos you and your children will love exploring!Â
What to expect at the trailhead
You can expect a medium sized parking lot just off hwy 89. There are very limited amenities with 2 poorly maintained port a pottys. There is a sign in book and a sign that reads information about the trail.Â
What to expect along the trail
The 1.6 mile moderately trafficked hike is easy- moderate as you navigate up to the Toadstool Hoodoos. You can expect to follow a trail through washes.Â
There are clearly marked signs along the way to help you navigate when the trail is not in the wash.Â
What to do
Take your time at the hoodoos to explore! Your children will love to use their imaginations among the different white and red rock formations.
Please be respectful! Stay on paths and do not climb on the hoodoos.Â

It was incredibly windy while we were there. We don't know if this is normal for the area or just happened to be that way on the day we went. How to get here
The Toadstool Hoodoos trailhead is located 44 miles east of Kanab on hwy 89. The parking lot is directly off the road. There is a sign so you are sure to not miss it!Â
